Category: Mobile Applications

Platform: Google Play Store

Core Tech: Android, Mobile App, Google Play

Project Overview

The Shohoj Bazar App (Shohoj Bazar BD) is an Android mobile shopping application available on Google Play. Designed to make everyday grocery and organic essentials shopping hassle-free for consumers in Bangladesh, the app provides a quick mobile catalog, multi-category browsing, real-time stock availability, localized Cash on Delivery support, and order delivery notifications.

Project Goals

Build and launch a user-friendly Android e-commerce mobile application on Google Play that caters to local shoppers, minimizes data usage, and simplifies the ordering of fresh everyday produce.

The Challenge

Optimizing app size, image loading, and checkout speed so users on lower-end devices or slower mobile data connections can browse and order without frustration.

How I Approached It

Implemented aggressive image caching, a compact app bundle, clear visual categories, Bengali and English localized cues, and an express checkout requiring minimal typing.

How It Was Built

User journey mapping -> Mobile UI design -> API integration with store inventory -> Google Play Store release -> User feedback iterations.

The Results

Live on Google Play Store (com.nestcloude.shohojbazarbd), providing daily shoppers with a reliable, pocket-friendly way to order fresh groceries directly to their doors.
